When she was only 20 years old, Juliane Gallina became the first woman to serve as the United States Naval Academy’s (USNA) brigade commander. Today, she is a retired Navy leader with more than two decades of service. As IBM’s director of Cognitive Solutions for National Security, she utilizes that expertise to adapt cognitive technology for security purposes.
