Theme: The Portrait of Reality

The end of the era we live in leads one to an adventure full of obscurity, like a universe decorated with unpredictable ways. A person finds himself in a difficult search in this unknown. He constantly thinks about life and everything about living. With this difficult thinking process living in the depths of his mind, he can recreate his environment, digest what he wants to see, create his own reality.

What do we call reality? Is it a set of facts presented to us, the boundaries we draw in our minds, or the perspectives? "If a person is not living the reality, he is not living himself in essence; he is living someone else's life and can do it as much as the role assigned to him in it. Then he is no longer himself, just like the reversal of reality. Where there is no reality, man is not real in essence either " Truth is rarely pure and never simple.

It shows as much as it illuminates with its own light in the complex order. The most important thing in this process is not the angle at which the light comes, but the place one takes as a reference point. We choose the center of life as a reference point and put you in front of the portrait of reality. It leaves you alone with its unchanging integrity and invites you to take a small journey in your thought universe governed by your perspectives.

Prof. Dr. Nazli Eda Noyan earned her BA and MFA degrees in graphic design. Worked as an intern designer in UNICEF, Ghana. She's the head of Cartoon and Animation Department of Bahcesehir University, Faculty of Communication. She is the author and designer of 13 children's books as well as writer and director of animated films such as "The Children of the Other Lands" (Best Animation Film award, Istanbul Short Film Fest, 2006) and "A Cup of Turkish Coffee" (FR, TR co-production, supported by ARTE and CNC. Best Short Film awards at 51st Golden Orange FF and 59th Valladolid Meeting Point 2013; mentioned in "New Contexts and Voices" chapter of A New History of Animation written by Maureen Furniss (Thames & Hudson, 2016). In 2019 she restarted to work animated film projects; animated documentary "Sisters' Tales" and an experimental animation "A Tender Dream".

He published two scientific articles on artificial intelligence while he was a university student, these articles were on indoor positioning and Reinforcement Learning Applications in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Except for the production processes, which are the requirements of engineering, that is, digital and hardware productization, he developed and worked in the fields of artificial intelligence that can be called advanced, we can include topics such as Reinforcement and Meta Learning in these fields. He had the opportunity to work with many companies in the country and abroad, but he is currently the CEO of AR AiTech, which I am the founder of, and as the CTO of Option Academy, of which he is one of the founding partners.
