In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Allyn Croke

Student
Allyn Croke is a 16-year-old American expat. She has lived all over the United States, England, Qatar, and now Thailand. She enjoys music, film, and dancing. She also adores traveling and learning more about our world every day. But, most of all she loves making people around her laugh and helping others in any way that she can.

Anna Timchenko

Anna Timchenko is a 16-year-old Ukrainian-American currently attending International School Bangkok as a junior. Her interests include politics, literature, debate, and film. As such, her free time is often spent reading anything from works of fiction to political theory to the news, public speaking, or watching movies. She hopes to one day pursue a career in international politics.

Jordan Nahmias is a 17-year- old junior born in Israel, he has lived all around the world including places such as Belgium, Israel, and Thailand. He loves rugby and dancing and loves going to the gym in his free time, he is always excited to go and travel to new places and enjoys going out with his friends but also spend quality time with his family.

Kate would first and foremost like to thank her friends and family for putting up with her and being here to support her. She is an ISB junior who has lived in Thailand for eight years. She’s passionate about social advocacy and creating change at ISB. Her hobbies include traveling, dancing, acting, singing, athletics, and taking naps.

Krin (Ken) Muangsiri

Ken Muangsiri is a Thai, 16 year old junior from the International School Bangkok. He has spent almost his entire life living in Thailand with his family. Some of his hobbies include volleyball, tennis, computer programming, playing the saxophone, and napping. However, he finds spending time with his family most special as they are his greatest supporters, and Ken feels extremely grateful for them.

Nami Amirmokri is a 16-year-old American of Persian Cambodian descent. He has lived in Asia for the majority of his life and is currently a junior at the International School of Bangkok. His hobbies include watching movies, gaming, and playing sports. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and living life to the fullest but most importantly being close to his family.

Nick Jankovic

Nick Jankovic is a 16-year-old American of Serbian and Thai descent. He has lived in Thailand for most of his life and is currently a junior at International School Bangkok. Some of his hobbies include reading, playing chess, researching quantum physics, and debating philosophical ideas - like the true nerd that he is. But, above all, he loves having a good time with his friends.

Pinmada (Mye) Makornwattana

Mye Makornwattana is a Thai 16-year-old studying at International School Bangkok. She is pursuing science and business, and spends a lot of her time integrating them with her passions surrounding healthcare and gender disparities. Her hobbies include writing, speaking, swimming, and spending time with friends and family. She hopes to study medicine in the future and find methods to ensure that her endeavors help others and create a healthier and more equal society.

Warisaya (Genes) Srisukajorn

Warisaya Srisukajorn or Genes, a junior at International School Bangkok. She felt that the world was good until 4 years ago. She went to study in India. A place, where she sees a big contrast between rich and poor. She is interested in food, social equality, environmental issue, and how to improve those problems. In her free time, she usually reads fiction novels, watches movies/tv shows, hangs out with her friends, drawing and sleeps.

Zachary Bernier-Michaud

Zachary Bernier-Michaud is a French Canadian who has lived in Panama, Germany, and Thailand. His passion and mindset for a triathlon is something he translates into his academic and everyday life, where he aims to better himself. He believes that hard work beats talent and carries the importance of this in his future endeavors.
