Cesar Harada

Founder and Director
Cesar Harada is a French-Japanese Inventor, Environmentalist and Entrepreneur. He is the Founder and Director of MakerBay, HK MakeSpace for Social & Environmental Impact. Cesar is developing Protei – a revolutionary shape shifting sailing robot. Amongst his many accolades, Cesar is Senior Fellow of TED, a graduate from the Royal College of Arts, London, Design Interactions Department, and has worked as MIT Boston USA Project Leader, as well as the Construction Manager of the *1Hub_in Nairobi, Kenya.

David Geithing

Chief Veterinary Officer
Dr. David Gething is the Chief Veterinary Officer of Creature Comforts and spends most of his days running between his veterinary housecall practice and his veterinary hospitals in Hong Kong. In 2015, he won the World Marathon Challenge running 7 marathons in 7 continents in 7 days, and set two new world records in the process. Dr. David has competed in numerous marathons, and has authored his book Relentless, sharing what it is like to compete in one of the most demanding amateur sporting events on the planet, and what it takes to win.

Timothy Lee

Co-Founder & Director
Timothy Lee obtained his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and studied communications and classical languages at the graduate level. He started as a computer systems engineer in the Silicon Valley and later on, decided to take on teaching as his lifelong career. In 2008, he cofounded CANA Elite, an education centre that mentors HK youth and adolescents in the STEM field. In the past years, CANA has won the HSBC Young Business Gold award as well as the HK Home Affairs Bureau’s Family-Friendly Employers award.
