Theme: Truth and Dare

The theme for this year's TEDxYouth@SKIS conference is "Truth and Dare", which is adopted from this year's TED conference. We believe this theme is significant as in our fast changing world, a reliable grasp on truth is hard to come by. Thus, in search of deeper truth, richer understanding, better questions, we hope to find minds best capable of reframing our most familiar beliefs and concerns and to challenge the audience to test their logic. We also believe the element of dare plays a large role in this pursuit for truth- to be one who dares to challenge what others have simply accepted, to dare to go beyond the limit and strive for success.

Hence, contrary to the common phrase "Truth or dare", we feel that these two terms are not two separate choices in which a decision has to be made between one or the other, but instead, are two inter-related elements that work together.
