In the light of the month of Ramadan, we decided to choose a theme in the spirit of spirituality and religion; we've selected 3 TED talks that touch upon compassion, different religions and a new understanding of atheism...we wanted it to be for everyone!
We've also organized the salon over Iftar/dinner for those who are fasting, they can break their fast over discussions, as well as for those who'd just like to have dinner. Iftar/dinner was optional.
The theme was sensitive and personal, but we were happy to see people open to engaging in a conversation around their own understandings of it, and their misconceptions/questions of other religions and practices.
