Theme: TEDxChange Simulcast: Positive D!sruption

TEDxChange는 빌&멜린다 게이츠 재단이 TEDx와 협력하여 개최하는 행사로, 주로 말라리아, 에이즈 등 질병 퇴치, 신생아의 건강, 농업 개발 등을 주제로 다룹니다. 올해 TEDxChange 2013은 오는 4월 3일 오전9시(현지시간) 미국 시애틀에서 열립니다.
이번 행사의 주제는 'Positive Disruption'(긍정적 혼란, 방해)입니다. ‘혼란’이라는 것은 대개 환영받지 못합니다. 우리는 변화를 추구하기보다 보수적일 때가 많기 때문입니다. 혼란은 오래된 관념에 도전하고, 대화에 불을 붙이고, 권위를 움직여 새로운 가능성을 드러내게 할 수 있습니다. 혼란은 세계 공동체의 문제와 쟁점에 대해 위기의식과 신선한 관점을 제공할 수 있습니다. 다루기 힘든 문제를 해결하려면, 긍정적인 혼란이 필요합니다.
발표자들은 선입견에 도전하여 논쟁에 불러일으키고, 리더들의 주의를 환기시키고 새로운 관점을 선보일 것입니다.

Disruption can be a positive – sometimes vital – catalyst for change. It can challenge old assumptions, ignite conversations, activate authorities and expose new possibilities. Disruption can shed a unique light on difficult issues, giving a fresh urgency and perspective to the challenges of our global community. To solve the most intractable challenges in health and development, we need positive disruption.
