Westerford High School is full of incredible pupils who are on the brink of adulthood; capable young Westerfordians who are at the start of their life journey. Not standing in the shadow of life's complications, commitments and complexities, many undiscovered opportunities await them.
This event seeks to challenge and inspire them in a way that will help them to recognise their own ability to do great things with their lives. TEDx Westerford will echo the words of Mandela when he said, ‘There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.’ Exhorting the pupils to live fearlessly, the talks aim to highlight the many varied paths to a world full of possibilities as well as aim to convey the practical side of sustainable lighter living.
