Joseph Radhik
Joseph ‘Joe’ Radhik: One of India’s topmost wedding photographer. An Engineer and IIM grad, Joe
is the best example of India’s creative youth. He has covered many celebrity weddings across the
country, and he will be speaking about his journey in the Photography field.
Rakesh Reddy Dubbudu:
A person with high social commitment, Rakesh holds a B.Tech in
Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT, Warangal. He is the Founding Partner of
BHUMI Hyderabad and is responsible for Project Planning and Execution in the field of Governance
and RTI. He is the Andhra Pradesh Coordinator for the “National People's RTI Assessment 2008”. He
was the winner of the First ever “Citizen Journalist Award” awarded by the Network 18 group .
Harish Iyer
A victim of child sexual abuse, survivor, gay rights activist, animal rights activist and an
environmentalist. He is now a household name in every Indian home after his appearance in Amir
Khan’s famous show Satyameva Jayate. Mr.Iyer may look like a shy person with dimpled cheeks but
his courage is commendable. He will be with us to share his story and how he survived the trauma.
Vivek Francis
The trailblazing owner of MobME, one of the most successful telecom start-ups
in India, will talk about his entrepreneurial journey at TEDx GITAMUniversity. Since April 2012,
when MobME tied up with the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India,
and Technopark to set up Startup Village in Kochi, India’s first public–private partnership telecom
incubator, Vivek has also become a full-fledged ‘angel’ – a friend, philosopher, guide and investor –
to many a student entrepreneur.
Vijay Bhaskar Reddy
An IIT-Madras grad, Vijay has been into the agricultural sector, developing
automated solutions. After quitting his high-paying job, he started a company with focus on
Agriculture to give back to his community. Born and raised in Palli, a small village in Kadapa district,
Andhra Pradesh, in a family of poor farmers, he is now Chairman and CEO at Vinfinet Technologies
Pvt Ltd, a company he started out with a few others.Mr.Vijay Bhaskar developed a product that improves the lives of farmers–providing them safety, and
saving them time, money, and labor—by allowing them to water their fields remotely via their cell
phones. His product Kisan Raja was one of the 8 finalists in Mahindra Rise, among the winners of the
3rd ISB iDiya Challenge. Kisan Raja also won 2nd Prize at Samsung Innovation Quotient conducted by
Samsung, and awards by CNBC-TV18 among others.
Ojas Suniti Vinay
A young theatre artist from Pune, Ms.Ojas has been spreading awareness about
the plight of the dwellers of North East India. With excellent facial expressions and story-telling
skills, Ms.Ojas has taken her one-act play ‘Le Mashale’ across the length and breadth of India, telling
people the tale of Irom Sharmila, the famous Manipuri activist. She has been running a campaign
against the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) even as a debate rages in Jammu & Kashmir
and the Northeast over its implementation and rights violations.
Mitchell B. London
President and CEO at Headroom Learning, a leading educational software
company, Mr.London has more than twenty years of experience managing high-growth technology
ventures. After earning a BS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon
University in 1987, he began his career with Microsoft, where he played a key role in the early
development of the Windows Operating System. In 1988, Mr.London founded ConnectSoft Inc., a
multi-divisional firm located in Bellevue, Washington. He negotiated several financings and multi-
million dollar business transactions. In 1996, Mr.London sold ConnectSoft to a NASDAQ listed
technology holding company in a transaction valued at more than twenty million dollars.
Prasanna kumar
A.Prasanna Kumar, Director, Centre for Policy Studies is former Regional Director
National Maritime Foundation, Visakhapatnam Chapter (September 2009 - September 2012), former
President of Visakha Music Academy (June 2004 - June 2011), former President of Visakhapatnam
Veterans Tennis Association (2000-2003) and former Rector and retired Professor of Politics, Andhra
University. He was a member of the Academic Council of Sri Sathya Sai University, Prasanthi Nilayam
for six years.
He was All India Radio’s sports commentator from 1964-2000 on tennis, cricket and badminton.
Among the running commentaries done by him were: ASIAD 82, First and Second Masters and Grand
Prix in badminton, over ten Davis Cup ties and ATP Challenger tennis tournaments, and several
cricket commentaries on zonal, national and international matches.
Anupama Hoskere
