They say it takes all kinds to make this world. In our lives we meet so many different people with so many different life stories. Out of all these stories, the ones that stay back with us, the ones that leave a mark are the ones characterized by strength; the ones that leave our jaws just a little wide open; the ones that inspire us, even when we may not be able to relate; the ones that the people had to create from scratch. These are the unusual, avant-garde, exceptional stories of exceptional people that would not bow down to convention. Quite simply, these are stories of unconventional people and their unconventional journeys.

TEDxSIBMBangalore's theme of "Challenging The Conventional" finds resonance with the need of spreading ideas. The theme provokes the need in one's life to go beyond the obvious and establish new thinking. The theme puts forth us a plethora of lives lead differently, each one adding meaning to the society, thus helping spread of such ideas to inspire the creative genius which resides in each one us.
