Theme: Illuminate

This year, we chose "illuminate" as our theme. Illuminate, make something visible or bright by shining light on it or light up, is a word that could guide a person towards bright future. We hope the sparks of our thoughts, imagination and innovation, would light up every individual's inner world. No matter who you are, what you think, there's always an inspiration and feelings to illuminate deep inside yourself and express it out to illuminate your surroundings.

Braylon Ryan McCormack

Braylon Ryan is an American boy from Wuxi Foreign Language School. He's multilingual, he speaks great English and Chinese. He is a sporty boy and likes to play basketball with his mates at school whenever there's leisure time.

Jialu He

Jialu He, Cecilia, is a girl brimming with energy and confidence. Moreover, at just fifteen years old, she became incredibly ambitious and eager to try anything. Many people tell comment that she is the real-life Judy cop.

Lijie Yang

Lijie Yang is an outgoing little girl who always brings positive energy to others. She's very independent, as long as it is something that she could handle by herself, she will never bother others. She personally thinks that she is much more mature than her peers, so she has a more mature perspectives on the things happening around her.

Nuo Chen

Her name is Nuo Chen, or you can call her Nora. She was born and raised in Wuxi. She's a hot-wired, heat-seeking person and she's absolutely a big fan of traveling. She finds that experiencing new cultures and landscapes broadens her perspective.

Sitong Geng

Empathy and compassion play important roles in Sitong's personality, and she often tries to understand others' situations. This mental attitude guides her actions, and she believes it can bring positive impacts to others. From her friends' perspectives, she's a vibrant and good listener. Together with her friends, she enjoys sharing both funny and sad moments in life. She is also very helpful to others and is of her great pleasure to help people in need.

Songlin Su, Aria, is a girl with a relatively outgoing personality. Singing is her favorite hobby in daily life. Meanwhile, he also loves playing volleyball and badminton. She always hopes to bring happiness to people around her.

An enthusiastic navigators find paths. Wenting Chen, Whitney, is a 12th grader from Wuxi Foreign Language School. The words extroverted and creative is far from enough to describe her, and the reason is that she believes no one should be defined.

Xixi Yu

Xixi Yu, Narcissa, has the personality type is ENTJ. This means that she's self-motivated and independent, also having great ambitions. She always have an eye on her target and tries her best to achieve her goal. She has a curious mind mainly resulted from reading books about history in her free time.

Yichen Xu

Yichen Xu is an enthusiastic explorer of life. During her daily school life and family time, she always keep her eyes wide open to capture those tiny moments that are easily overlooked. Maybe it's the glistening dewdrops on the leaves in the early morning, or the warm and casual interactions among people on the streets. She is keen on keeping these observations in her heart and savoring them carefully. She also loves expressing herself. Whether it's her unique views on knowledge in class or her insights into life phenomena when chatting with friends, she believes that every opinion is a spark generated by the collision of thoughts and is worth sharing and listening to.

Moreover, he is a kind of person that enjoys to stay and hang out with friends. Also he is compassionate and warm hearted, and believes friendship is a big component of his life.

Zhixuan Xiao

Zhixuan Xiao, Priscilla, is a ninth grader student from Wuxi Foreign Language School. She really enjoys painting and traveling to spend her leisure time. She is a pretty outgoing, friendly, and is a person full of energy that allows many to build friendships with any people.

Ziyu Wang

Ziyu Wang is a high school boy studying in Wuxi Foreign Language School. He is an introverted person and slightly lacks confidence, but he has enough courage to rise to any challenges that he faces have in his life. Creativity and seeking for the perfection are two of his major characteristics, and with these characteristics, he can spend a lot of time in imagination and try various ways to break through himself. Like most of teenagers he is a great fan of video games. There are plenty of people think that video games have no beneficial aspects, however, he thinks that this is only a stereotype about video games. He has his own ideas and reasons to convince people from breaking this stereotype.
