Theme: Remarkable moments

At Escola Concept, learners from Grade 6 to Grade 11 take part in a course designed to strengthen their public speaking skills, using the TED format as both inspiration and framework. Guided by their own interests and passions, they write and deliver original talks as part of their learning experience.

Now, those who have applied and received mentoring will take the stage to share their ideas with the broader school community in an inspiring TEDx event. Join us at Escola Concept São Paulo on Saturday, June 7th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

1. Special Guest Priscila Torres

Educational Business Unit Director

Priscila Torres is an international educator with over 20 years of experience impacting and leading international schools in Latin America and in North America. Priscila holds a Masters in International Education (Framingham State University), a graduate degree in Neurological Development (University of Brasília), an additional graduate degree in Leadership and Supervision with a focus on Technology (Johns Hopkins University), a certificate in Gifted and Talented Education (University of California), and multiple certifications in the areas of Leadership and Finance (Harvard University, Principals' Training Center, Governance Training Center). As a keynote speaker she participated in a variety of worldwide institutions to include schools, conferences, central training centers, and recruitment agencies in Asia, Europe and America. Her recent professional experiences include serving the Grupo SEB as a Business Unit Director of their most innovative school brand, Escola Concept.

Pesquisadora em Violência e Preconceito pela FEUSP, Mestre em Neurociência Comportamental pela UNIFESP, Pós-graduada em Gestão das Diferenças e Práticas Inclusivas e também em Neurociência Comportamental pelo Instituto Singularidades. Membro do Conselho de Direitos Humanos da ONU-Brasil. Presidente do Grupo TJ (Turma do Jiló e Todos Juntos), Fellow ASHOKA e Coordenadora em Inclusão da Diversidade do Instituto Singularidades, mais de 20 anos de experiências corporativas diversas em setores. Vencedora do Prêmio Empreendedor Social do Ano (2022) e do UN Women USA Rise and Raise Others (2022) na categoria Redução das desigualdades! Conselheira consultiva do Instituto da Oportunidade Social (IOS) e do Movimento Educa 2030 do Pacto Global Rede Brasil da ONU.
