In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Blake Eduardo

Celine van Till

Céline van Till, née en 1991 à Genève, est une athlète paralympique suisse, conférencière inspirante et auteure engagée. À 17 ans, un grave accident équestre la plonge dans un coma, la laissant avec un handicap visuel et des troubles moteurs. Refusant de renoncer, elle se bat pour retrouver sa place dans le sport de haut niveau, devenant cavalière paralympique aux Jeux de Rio 2016 avant de se reconvertir avec succès en cyclisme, où elle remporte plusieurs titres mondiaux et européens. Porteuse d’un message de résilience, elle fonde l’association Tout est possible pour soutenir les athlètes handicapés et partage son histoire à travers des livres (Pas à pas, Tout est possible), un film (Bucéphale), et des conférences internationales. Élue au Grand Conseil genevois, elle milite pour l’inclusion et prouve que les limites sont faites pour être repoussées.

Katja Gentinetta

Katja Gentinetta is a political philosopher. She teaches at the Universities of Zurich and Lucerne and is a member of various boards of trustees and foundations. Katja Gentinetta is a regular columnist and guest on talk shows, giving lectures and interviews in Switzerland and abroad. She is the author and editor of numerous books in social and economic issues. More recently, she has been working intensively on security policy issues, including a study report on Switzerland's future security policy.

Kevin Schawinski

Maximilian Janisch

Maximilian Janisch is a swiss doctoral student in mathematics. Janisch showed aptitude for mathematics at a very young age and was described as a child prodigy or Wunderkind. After passing his high school mathematics exams at the age of nine, at the age of twelve, Janisch became the youngest university student in France, and at the age of eighteen, the youngest doctoral student in Switzerland.

Mbene Mwambene

Mbene Mwambene is a Zambian-Malawian actor, journalist, poet, theater director, story-teller and dancer currently based in Bern, Switzerland. He is the first African to have `been granted privilege`to study at Bern University of Arts for a Master degree in Expanded Theater. In 2011, Prof. Christoph Nix from Theater Konstanz, Germany, commissioned Mbene to produce a solo piece, The Story of a Tiger which he later performed in various countries across Africa, Europe and Asia. ‍ Mbene´s work is mainly focused on post-colonial themes within and outside theatrical settings. His professional acting life has revolved around doing interactive theatre, story telling, improvised performances and singing, solo pieces, comedies and body movement. Beside stage performances, Mbene facilitates workshops in prisons, schools, community places and refugee camps in Africa and Europe.

Nicoletta Della Valle

Nicoletta della Valle ist Juristin und war von 2014 bis 2025 Direktorin des Bundesamts für Polizei (fedpol) in der Schweiz. Als Tochter eines italienischen Einwanderers prägte sie früh der Kampfsport – vom Judo bis zum Kickboxen. Nach ihrem Studium der Rechtswissenschaften an der Universität Bern engagierte sie sich unter anderem im Aufbau der nationalen DNA-Datenbank und in der Leitung verschiedener öffentlicher Institutionen. Sie steht für Führung mit Klarheit, kontinuierliche Verbesserung und den Mut, neue Wege zu gehen.

Stefan Angehrn

Stefan Angehrn is a former Swiss professional boxer who fought at the highest levels of international competition. Known for his resilience and precision in the ring, he twice contended for the world title against Ralf Rocchigiani in the 1990s, narrowly losing both matches on points. In 1997, he defeated Olympic gold medalist Torsten May in Düsseldorf, and a year later, he claimed the IBF Intercontinental Championship with a win over Dan Ward. Today, Stefan brings the same discipline and focus from the ring to his work beyond boxing.
