Kfarhbab, Ghazir, Mont-Liban
Lebanon

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Amir Saoud

captain of both Al Riyadi Club and the Lebanese National Team
As CEO and Managing Partner of the Riyadi Basketball Academy, Amir has transformed the academy into a powerful platform for youth empowerment—blending elite athletic training with mentorship that builds character, discipline, and mental toughness. His mission is clear: to prepare the next generation not just to win games, but to win in life. A fierce advocate for youth development and a champion of mental resilience, Amir uses his own story—one rooted in perseverance, rejection, and ultimate breakthrough—to show young people that greatness begins in the mind. His voice resonates with all those navigating pressure, doubt, or adversity. Amir is also a Gatorade ambassador and the face of D.FY, where he continually “D.fy-es” himself to break limits and evolve into the best version of himself.
