April 29, 2025
Kyzylorda, Qyzylorda oblysy
Kazakhstan

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Adelina Finansova

Social activist
Hello everyone! My name is Finansova Adelina. I am 15 years old, I study at Nazarbayev Intellectual School, and I take part in various school projects and debates. I’m also passionate about science and creativity. For me, it’s important not just to study, but to be part of something greater — to take part in initiatives that help make the world around us a little better.

Aruzhan Mukhambetiya

Developer and Researcher
My name is Aruzhan, and I am 17 years old. Since childhood, I have been passionate about science, technology, and global change. I have created Smart Ambulance, innovative medical stretchers (Med Stretcher), and the Tirek tracker, which saves lives in situations of domestic violence. My achievements and victories prove that age is not a limitation but a resource for great accomplishments. I don’t just talk about change — I create it myself. That is why you can trust me: my experience is living proof of the power of youth and the drive for real results.

Gulim Bolatkyzy

Developer and Researcher
My name is Gulim, and I’m just an ordinary high school student who, like many others, spent countless sleepless nights trying to do everything and be the best. I know what it feels like to push yourself to the limit, and then feel nothing instead of happiness. What I’m sharing with you today isn’t theory from books, it’s a real story of facing burnout and learning to find balance between dreams and self-care. I’m not here to teach or lecture, I’m here to honestly share what I went through and what helped me start feeling alive again. And maybe that’s why my voice might feel a little closer to yours.

Meruyert Bekisheva

Dancer, Singer, Public speaker
My name is Meruyert Bekisheva, I am a 17 year old student from Kazakhstan and I’ve been dancing for over 11 years-the stage is where I found my voice. Being part of a school dance team taught me something powerful: real leadership isn’t about control, it’s about inspiration, creativity, and the courage to express who you are. Art became my way of expressing emotions, building confidence, and leading without saying a word. That experience is what led me to pursue a future in music. I believe true leadership begins with creative thinking and empathy, and I’ve seen how those qualities can bring people together and make a real change in the world. This isn’t just some story — it’s my story.
