The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dr. Prahlada Rama Rao

Indian Missile scientist and former Director of the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL).
Dr. Prahlada Rama Rao is a distinguished Indian missile scientist known for his contributions to India's defense technology. Born in 1947 in Bangalore, he pursued mechanical engineering at UVCE, followed by a master's in aeronautical engineering from IISc, specializing in rockets and missile systems. He later earned a PhD from JNTU Hyderabad. With a career spanning decades, Dr. Rama Rao has played a key role in India's defense sector. As the Director of DRDL, he significantly strengthened India’s missile capabilities. His expertise earned him the Padma Shri in 2015 for contributions to science and engineering. Currently, he continues to shape the aerospace and defense sectors as Chairman of Taneja Aerospace & Aviation Ltd. and a board member at Aeron Systems Pvt Ltd. His dedication and innovation have made him a prominent figure in India’s defense landscape.

Dr.Gajendra Purohit

Dr. Gajendra Purohit is a distinguished mathematics educator with over two decades of teaching experience. He holds an MSc in Mathematics, has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET), and earned a PhD in Pure Mathematics. In addition to traditional classroom teaching, Dr. Purohit has embraced digital platforms to reach a wider audience. He is a full-time YouTuber, sharing insights on higher mathematics concepts, exam strategies, and motivational content. He also founded MathsCare, an online platform offering comprehensive courses for competitive exams such as CSIR NET, IIT JAM, GATE, and CUET PG. Dr. Purohit's contributions extend beyond teaching; he is a motivational speaker, author of six bestselling books, and a career guide, inspiring students to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Ketakee Mateygaonkar

Artist and singer
Ketaki Mategaonkar, born on February 22, 1994, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, is an Indian singer, songwriter, actress, and performer. She hails from a musical family; her father, Parag Mategaonkar, is a music director, and her mother, Suvarna Mategaonkar, is a singer. Ketaki began her musical journey at the age of three, receiving lessons from her parents. She gained early recognition by participating in the reality show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Marathi L'il Champs." She made her acting debut in the Marathi film "Shala" (2011) and has since appeared in notable films such as "Kaksparsh" (2012), "Timepass" (2014), and "Phuntroo" (2016). In addition to acting, Ketaki has contributed as a playback singer in various films, including "Dashavatar" (2008) and "Taani" (2013). She pursued a degree in English Literature and has also studied at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. Ketaki continues to captivate audiences with her versatile talents in music and acting.
