This aligns with our schoolwide theme, "Envision," which encourages us to imagine and create a better future. By recognizing the interdependence of different fields and cultures, we can develop innovative solutions that address the complex challenges of our time, inspiring us all to envision a brighter tomorrow.

Cam Ngoc Vu

Student

Ngoc Vu is currently a junior at Concordia Hanoi. She is fascinated by the field of law and has always been interested in learning more about it. Her hobbies range from going out with friends to traveling. With her speech, she will explore her personal interest and discuss how cross-cultural communication can be achieved through diplomacy and laws to bridge gaps between cultures in a convergent world.

Clara Jung

Clara is a senior at Concordia Hanoi. She loves listening to RnB music and spending time with her cat. Over the years, many things in her life have changed—her music taste, personality, and even facial features—but one thing has always stayed the same—her love for science. Microbiology is one of her favorite areas of study. Through her TedX speech, Clara hopes to break the common stereotype that “all bacteria are harmful” and show how bacteria can actually play a key role in sustainability.

Daeun Jung

Daeun is currently a Grade 6 student at Concordia International School Hanoi. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading books, listening to music and practicing Pilates. Today, through her speech, she aims to raise awareness about a critical and often overlooked consequence of climate change—climate refugees.

Phương is a junior at Concordia International School Hanoi who’s obsessed with finance and how it can actually make a difference in people’s lives. She has always been curious about the growing gap between those who have access to financial resources and those who don’t—and how this inequality shapes our world. In her TEDx talk, she dive into the challenges that keep underserved communities from getting a fair shot.

Hien Thu Le Nguyen

Thu is currently a senior at Nguyen Sieu School. She is a biology nerd by day and a raging theater kid by night. She has always loved doing both arts and science but she often wondered how they could complement each other rather than feeling so divided. This is what encouraged her to join TEDxConcordia. In her free time, she loves to read, watch movies, go on long walks, and she especially loves yapping. Her definition of a perfect date would be sunset-watching with a side of fries!

Luna is a Freshman at Concordia International School Hanoi. Whenever she goes out to eat with her family, she loves to try different food, which makes her really passionate about the food industry. During an 8th grade Social Studies class, Luna was learning about the effects of globalization on the world. This led to her wondering “What are the effects of globalization on the food industry in Vietnam?” Through TedxConcordia, Luna wishes to share her views on this topic.

As we navigate the digital age, protecting personal information is more important than ever. We need to stay informed, stay aware, and safeguard our data in this era of rapid technological change.

Ngoc Thi Yen Nguyen

Student

Ngoc is a current senior at Concordia Hanoi. She is interested in various forms of art such as her favorite—painting—as well as drawing, music, and film. In her free time, she likes to go thrifting with friends, read, and play cozy video games. Ngoc will touch upon AI art and its ethicality in her TED talk. By examining how technology and creativity have converged throughout history, she hopes to help others form more informed perspectives on this topic.
