Known for his dynamic teaching style and deep subject knowledge, he brings history to life in the classroom and beyond. As a passionate advocate for historical literacy, he explores how the discipline has evolved across time. In his TEDx talk, The History of History, he hopes to unpack how history has been recorded, remembered, and retold—challenging us to rethink the stories we inherit. His mission: to ignite curiosity and critical thinking through the power of historical perspective.

IyanuOluwa Mercy Adebayo is a 16-year-old student currently in the 11th grade in Avicenna International School. She has a love for academics especially Mathematics which she has nurtured since childhood. During her free time, she loves baking for her parents and friends and also creating custom bead jewellery. She is usually a reserved person, but has become more social and outgoing after becoming a boarding student. She wants to be an entrepreneur in the future and help innovate the secondary sector in her country to reduce their dependency on imports. She will be one of the speakers at the TEDxAvicenna International School.
Mark Wilhelm

Mark Wilhem is a self-proclaimed Graduate of the ‘School of hard Knocks’, an IT Digital Transformation Consultant, a leadership and soft skills mentor, as well as father of two students in Avi-cenna international school. He began his professional career teaching computers to primary school students, and rapidly moved to setting up his first company offering IT services at the age of 17. Fast forward 39 years, and he is now a leading Digital Transformation Consultant to a variety of clients. He also enjoys Mentoring and teaching both youths and adults alike to assist them on their path in Life as well as professional advancement. He believes that one of the key gifts that has helped him make such an impact has been his ability to simplify and communicate complex terms and technology into easy-to-understand analogies that allow for better understanding by everyone. He first applied this to technology and computers, but also found that the same skill could be applied to any topic.

Michelle Ademidun Marcetic is a 13-year-old student currently in the 8th grade in Avicenna International School. After Covid, in grade 5, she started public speaking and debates and she has been participating in similar stuff ever since. She has a love for art, music, animals, sports and science. During her free time, she loves spending time with her family, watching movies or learning something new on the piano. She is calm but energetic around the right people. She wants to be a surgeon in the future and help people feel better. She will be one of the speakers at TedxAvicenna International School.

Kosireddy Sai Nynisha is a 10-year-old and is currently in the 5th grade of Avi-cenna International School. She has many passions including an intense love for drawing and design as well as for public speaking as she has learnt to understand and comprehend her speeches. During her free time, she loves going to the beach to swim in the ocean especially because she claims to be an expert at swimming. She will be one of the speakers of the TedxAvicenna International School.
