We wish to convey to the youths in our campus that young people have a lot of alternative options other than those exposed and chosen by most, with stories, ideas from inspiring young figures.

Tao Tang

He is a graduate student in the department of journalism in Qinghua University. He is also a accomplished director of mini-film, who had won a Jinji Baihua Award. He is going to share with us his thoughts about films, dramas, and visual art in a broader sense.

Hui Yan

He is a PhD of Community Informatics in Beijing University, and currently a lecturer in the business school in Nankai University. He is going to share with us one of his project about the inequility of information in the rural area, in which he conducted field researches, trying to discuss the issue of rural development from the perspective of information inequality.

Sen Gu

The blogger of the famous geek blog, Matrix 67. He graduated from the Beijing University, majoring in Chinese literature, but he has a strong interest and knowledge in mathematics. He is going to share with us the mathematics in language and the education of mathematics and language.

Xiaozhi Wang

She is a bachelor in international relation that graduated from Beijing University. She took internships in UNDP programs in Africa and South America. She is going to share with us her experience in the programs and her own views in international relation and international development.

Ms. Nuerbiya

Being a student in the School of Public Health in Beijing University, she ardently participated in various kinds of volunteer activities in this field, especially in anti-AIDS. Also, being a proactive young person, she played an important role in many other NGO, such as ICU, 706 Youth Space, etc. In her talk, she will combine all her experience in public sector and demonstrate the significance of a youth platform in public sector, and her ideas about college students' participation in volunteering.

Mr. Mu Nan

He was formally a salesman, and then a technician in a automobile firm. Today, however, he met 'Huangdao', a bookstore in our campus, and quited his job to stay here. He said that running into 'Huangdao' was totally unanticipated. Running a bookstore wasn't easy, but the bookstore also inspired a lot of personal growth, and helped him to cleared the mist of his future. In his talk, he will share with us his story with 'Huangdao'
