Bienvenue Djamba
Bienvenue Djamba is from Congo, Kinshasa. She is currently a junior pursuing a pre-nursing degree. With a deep passion for helping others, Bienvenue is driven by a desire to make a positive impact both in healthcare and beyond. Alongside her academic pursuits, she is also committed to learning new skills and is on a journey to become a Christian motivational speaker. She enjoys spending time with friends and finding ways to uplift those around her. Through faith, compassion, and a heart for service, she is determined to inspire and encourage others on their own paths.
Daneka Souberbielle
Daneka is an educator, teacher, entrepreneur, and advocate with over 20 years of experience leading higher education initiatives for nontraditional and underrepresented students. Daneka is the Vice President of Community Outreach and Engagement at SUU, co-creating and implementing accessible, need-informed educational experiences and support services for the surrounding community.
Kevan Jacobson
Colonel Kevan Jacobson is the Chair of the Political Science and Criminal Justice Department at Southern Utah University. He teaches classes in substantive and procedural criminal law as well as courses related to national security and American government. He joined the faculty at SUU in 2015 and began teaching classes in August of that year. He was appointed Department Chair in July 2018.
Matt Nickerson
Matthew Nickerson Is an out of work actor currently working as the director of an academic library. Previous employment has included stints in fast food, biomedical research and directing a university Honors Program. Among other interesting activities, Matt has built heart lung machines, fished in the Amazon jungle, developed applications for digital humanities, turned America’s national parks into classrooms, and wrote/illustrated a children’s book titled, Nop Galoop.
