In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Clémentine Offner

Clémentine, 22 years old, is a Psychology student. She is French and Luxembourgish and grew up in Luxembourg. She has always aspired to make a positive impact on the world and has found her path through entrepreneurship. She co-founded the two ventures, FrëschKëscht and WeConnect.

Emily O‘Dwyer

Emily O‘Dwyer is half Irish and half Luxembourgish. She spends a lot of her time learning about new and different things to find her place in the world, which is why she volunteers for the Luxembourgish emergency services!

Ivo Silva

Ivo, a 22-year-old Economics student, is of Portuguese and Luxembourgish origin and was born and raised in Luxembourg. He has two major passions in life: football and entrepreneurship. At the age of 18, he founded his first company, FrëschKëscht, and at 21, his second, WeConnect. His life's objective is to be happy and to contribute to positive change in the world.

Lea Ganschow

"Hello everybody! My name's Lea Ganschow, a Russian-American 16-year-old living in Luxembourg. My hobbies include reading, playing piano, percussion and volleyball. Additionally, my favorite subjects at school are English and Physics. I'm passionate about political simulations, like MEP and MUN and am actively engaged in my school's radio club."

Paul Heber

Paul Heber, Chief Communication at UNICEF Luxembourg, has been working in the communication sector for more than 15 years and specialises in public relations, public speaking and brand building. Paul has led several major campaigns for children's' rights in Luxembourg, including World Children’s Day, UNICEF’s annual day of action for children, by children.

Theo Lasar

I am a 17-year-old student at Athénée Luxembourg, and I love challenges because I value personal growth. I find it exciting to step out of my comfort zone to learn and grow as a person. As a scout, I love to work with others in a team and improve my survival skills through the "Merite Jeunesse Gold Programm", which emphasises the importance of cooperation and perseverance.
