At TEDxAKGEC, TED Talks videos and live speakers will spark deep discussions and connections.Our theme, "Go Beyond," challenges limits and inspires exploration in technology, innovation, and personal growth. This event aims to create a platform where ideas transcend boundaries and ignite meaningful change.The TED Conference provides general guidance for TEDx, but TEDxAKGEC is independently organized under official guidelines. Gagandeep Bakshi

Major General
Major General Gagan Deep Bakshi is a retired Indian Army officer, military strategist, and author known for his expertise in defense and national security. Commissioned into the 6 Jammu and Kashmir Rifles in 1971, he played a crucial role in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and the Kargil War. For his distinguished service, he was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal and Sena Medal for leadership in counter-insurgency and strategic operations. During his career, Maj Gen Bakshi served in the Directorate General of Military Operations and was the first Brigadier General Staff (Information Warfare) at Northern Command, focusing on psychological warfare and strategic planning. After retiring in 2008, he became a prominent defense analyst and author, writing extensively on military history and strategy. His notable books include Bose: The Indian Samurai and The Rise of Indian Military Power. His insights continue to shape discussions on national security and defense policies.
