Emilie Sickinghe is a Master of Laws candidate at Université Catholique Louvain. She obtained a
diploma in International Relations at the Belgrano University in Buenos Aires. She also studied International Law in Belgium and Austria. As President of the debating society Conférence
Olivaint de Belgique, she undertook study trips and published two reports on the issues of
democracy in Armenia and multiculturalism in Canada. In addition to her position as Research
Associate she is writing her Master’s thesis on Nonviolence and the rule of law with Right to
Nonviolence.
