In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dutee Chand

Sprinter

Dutee Chand is an Indian professional sprinter and a former national champion in the women's 100 metres event. In 2013, she was the first Indian sprinter to reach the final of the 100m event at a global youth athletics competition and in 2016 she took part in the Rio Olympic Games.She is the third Indian woman to ever qualify for the Women's 100 metres event at the Summer Olympic Games. In 2018, Dutee Chand clinched silver in women's 100m at the Jakarta Asian Games. It was India's first medal in this event since 1998. Moreover, In 2019, she became the first Indian sprinter to win gold at the Universiade, clocking 11.32 seconds in the 100 m race. She is also India's first athlete to openly come out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

Harinder Singh Sikka

Mr Harinder Singh Sikka is currently serving as the Group Director-Strategic Business of Piramal Enterprises Limited. He is a prolific writer with several articles and a few books, including ‘Calling Sehmat’ and ‘Vichhoda’ to his name. ‘Calling Sehmat’, besides being a best seller book, also became a blockbuster Bollywood film titled ‘Raazi’. He also produced a film titled ‘Nanak Shah Fakir’, which was applauded at International Film Festivals at Cannes (May 2014), Toronto (September 2014) and Los Angeles (November 2014) and also won three National Awards. He is also a former Lieutenant Commander from the Indian Navy.

Licypriya Kangujam, 13, is the youngest Indian Climate Activist. She is one of the youngest climate activists globally and addressed the world leaders in the United Nations Climate Conference 2019 (COP25) in Madrid, Spain. She attended the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly 2022. She is a World Children Peace Prize Laureate 2019, Rising Star of Earth Day 2019 and the recipients of Global Child Prodigy Award 2020, International Women’s Day Award 2021 by Delhi Government, CNN News 18 Water Hero 2020, Forbes 30 Under 30 Special Mentions 2021, Anthem Award 2022 in USA, and won the prestigious TN Khushoo Memorial Award in 2020. She was featured amongst the “50 powerful voices of the World in 2020” along with His Holiness Pope Francis to celebrate the Earth Day 2020. She is also one of the co-recipients of the International Young Eco Hero Award 2024 given by Action for Nature, California, USA.

Lt. Gen. Vinod Khandare

Lieutenant General

Lieutenant General Vinod G. Khandare, PVSM, AVSM, SM is currently serving as the Principal Adviser in the Ministry of Defence. He was appointed as the Military Advisor to the National Security Council Secretariat of India in October 2018. He was the second Military Advisor in the history of the NSCS.The Military Wing of the NSCS was revived as a part of his appointment. In September 2021, Lt. Gen. Khandare led an Indian Defence Delegation to Nigeria with the aim of enhancing defence cooperation avenues with Nigerian Defence Establishments. Lt Gen Khandare's distinguished career is marked with the receipt of the UN Medal in 1993 for his service with ONUSAL.

Before joining HPE, Ranganath served as Director of Enterprise at IDC India, providing expert insights and advisory services to CxOs on the Indian IT industry's challenges. He also held the role of Regional Sales Director for EMEA and APJ at Spectra Logic, driving sales and solutions in data storage. Earlier in his career, he was Director of the Regional Product Management Team for HPE Storage in Asia Pacific and Japan and managed key accounts at HCL Infosystems.
