Theme: Shaping Perspectives

Our aim in holding a TEDx event with the theme Shaping Perspectives is to foster a significant impression on our audience. By offering a place for discussing and amplifying ideas, stories, and experiences relevant to the audience in a variety of fields, our event aims to close the gap between people coming from diverse socio-cultural and professional backgrounds. Sometimes the obstacle in the journey from aspiration to achievement can be a lack of creativity and authenticity in perspectives. The goal for this event is to challenge the audience to think from a liberated space and come forth with perspectives that are original and unique. The event aims to urge individuals in the audience to not shy away from their originality, no matter how extraordinary it may be. A free and plural society is ultimately what allows its members to approach issues with enthusiasm and a solution–oriented mindset. This will ensure that people’s perspectives are shaped in a way where they employ sustainable ethics when it comes to their respective fields.

Founded in 2015, it aims at helping the marginalized and the oppressed to articulate their demands and then make those demands heard within the power corridors.

Marryam Qasim Khan is the Director for Exceutive Education at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) and the Vice President of South Asian Women Development Forum Pakistan chapter, to name a few of her accomplishments.
