TEDx Pearson College is an independent youth-organized event, with the theme of Cultivating Education. We aim to highlight the importance of sustainable development and bring new and exciting ideas, igniting conversations about the future of education. This event brings attention to ways in which we can make learning a sustainable force.
Focusing on different ways in which traditional education has failed us, discovering new paths and alternative forms of education. Our speakers will share their thoughts and experiences, awarding our attendees with a sense of hope for the future.
Attendees will leave inspired by stories, experiences and ideas of brilliant young students, inventors and educators. We want to give a platform for those who advocate for change through education. This TEDx event will not only celebrate their ideas, but call for change, by bringing ways to apply these perspectives. A call for policy makers and educators, to recognise the importance of fighting for a more sustainable education. A call for all to rethink our education and how it prepares future generations.
