In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Emily Janneke is a poet and video artist who uses poetry and art to navigate life as a queer disabled creative, attempting to understand their life and where they fit in a world that isn’t built for them. Her work explores themes of identity, mental illness, queerness, and imagination through a combination of visuals and language in order to puzzle together and express what is happening in her brain.

Horst Pfister

Horst Pfister calls himself a business dad. He is a social media expert and content creator in his early 30s, living in the Bavarian countryside. In 2021 and recently again, they fulfilled their dream of becoming parents by choosing the surrogacy journey in the USA. Now they live their dream life by being parents to a wonderful daughter and a little son.

Jürgen Kirchgatterer, Fachbetreuer für psychosoziale Dienste, verfügt über umfassende Erfahrung, um Menschen in schwierigen Lebenssituationen zu unterstützen. Sein Motto: "Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung gehören in die Mitte der Gesellschaft, nicht an den Rand!" Mit dem Projekt PYD "pimp your doll", in das er seine gesamte Energie und Zeit steckt, möchte er das Tabuthema der Sexualität für Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung aufbrechen und deren Lebensqualität nachhaltig verbessern.
