In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ivy Kilar is a student at Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco, California. Ivy is extremely passionate about neurodiversity advocacy and has pursued different avenues to spread awareness about the neurodivergent experience and the need for systemic change within the education system. She recently filmed and produced a documentary titled From Stigma to Strength: The Neurodiversity Project that is now screening at schools all across the Bay Area.

A life-long Mandarin learner and member of the San Francisco Girls Chorus, Julia is fascinated by the intersection between linguistics and music. You can find her running her youth-led Chinese Opera company, Jing Shao Nian or training for her next triathlon.

She is passionate about bringing awareness to censored humanitarian issues and supporting underrepresented communities. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, hiking, and writing poetry.

Olivia Sze is a student at Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco, California. Growing up in the Bay Area, Olivia has become a passionate advocate for addressing the increasing polarization in our political system. Outside of her studies, she also enjoys running long-distance and coding for her community robotics team.

Sam's interests range from history to music to ethics to film, but above all, Sam is fascinated by human nature and decision making. He can regularly be found in an intense debate with friends or deep in podcasts about whatever he may find interesting.
