Asif Sadiq

Chief Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Warner Bros

Asif is the Chief Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Warner Bros. Discovery. He was previously the Global Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Social Impact at adidas and has a long and rich career in the diversity and inclusion space. Asif has been credited with impactful global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion activities and programs across organizations, that have created a strong sense of belonging for all and resulted in truly diverse workplaces. He has been key in building synergies between internal and external D&I efforts within organizations, ensuring diversity and inclusion is embedded in all elements of a business, resulting in innovative, creative and inclusive products and services.

Hridam Saha

Author, Poet and LGBTQ+ activist

He was raised in India and the Middle East, he grew up in spaces where he was discriminated against because of my sexual identity. In my struggle to feel counted and seen, he found his voice as a writer and orator. He is now a published poet, the first LGBTQ+ association chair for the University of Manchester's Student Union and an activist.

Karishma Gupta

Sustainable Fashion Tech CEO

Karishma, founder & CEO of Eslando, a circular fashion tech company on a mission to accelerate textile recycling. She is a fashion technologist with over a decade of experience of working in the supply chains. Her perspective on sustainability took a sharp turn when she encountered the 90 acre big Ghazipur landfill in New Delhi. Witnessing the scale of waste first hand ignited her mission to revolutionise textile recycling. She realised that, despite the use of sustainable materials, clothing ultimately finds its way into landfills. This realisation prompted her to start Eslando to find a solution to make it easier than ever to recycle greater volumes of post-consumer textiles. Their innovative solution connects fashion brands with consumers and textile recyclers to build the most trusted, measurable and impactful relationships through products.

Prithveesh Reddy

Young Entrepreneur and CEO of Arcube

Prithveesh Reddy is the Co-founder and CEO of Arcube, one of the fastest-growing tech startups in Manchester, leading the charge in revolutionizing airline loyalty programs. He made a significant impact by spearheading the creation of the world's first blockchain-airline loyalty program. Notably, he started his first company at the age of 17 and created Arcube, his second venture. He catalysed change by overcoming inertia and surpassing very real problems in entrepreneurship such as resource limitations and self-doubt, to transform “could-have-beens” into “have-dones”. He did not just navigate the challenges of turning ideas into thriving business, but he has also played a role in shaping the journeys of many others.

Reimala is a teaching-focussed lecturer and award winning Programme Director of BSc (Hons) Accounting at Alliance Manchester Business School. As a digital champion and advocate for innovative approaches in teaching, Reimala embraces a broad range of digital tools to empower students to become autonomous learners. She will draw on her professional skills of being an accountant to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
