TEDxDanube Intl School Vienna Youth

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Alex Bronstein

Alex Bronstein is a computer scientist and a technology entrepreneur in the field of artificial intelligence. He is currently a visiting professor at the Austrian Institute of Science and Technology. He collaborates on projects associated with using AI in biological sciences.

Caroline Paul

Caroline Paul, a Grade 7 student at Danube International School Vienna, shines with her charisma and loves taking on challenges, just like this TEDx Talk.

Pascal Nigitsch

Pascal Nigitsch, a Grade 11 student, last year’s Student of the Semester, who was meant to be in this place. As the word was spreading about TEDx, our team reached out to many people to encourage them to participate in the event. A great fraction of these people, when asked who we should approach to find a great speaker in our student body, responded: contact Pascal. This guy’s got skills! And he’s successfully getting through the busy life of a DP student, so we’re grateful to have him on our speakers’ team.

Thalia Butler

Thalia is a Grade 7 student at Danube International School Vienna, an excellent public speaker at her age, and loved for her characteristic New Zealandic accent you can hear everyday in the corridor from her in the heart of Europe.

Walter Werzowa

Walter Werzowa - a parent in the DISV community, is a multi-awarded, accomplished music, Health, and AI leader. His finalizations of Beethoven's X Symphony, a collaboration with Deutsche Telekom, and Ahmed Elgammal's AI-Generated € 1 Billion earned media and brought him a collaboration with Robbie Williams (Angels Beethoven remake). His Mythos Mozart, an immersive show in Mozart's Sterbehaus, features scores to Refik Anadol's stunning AI visuals. Walter's non-profit HealthTunes is a streaming 'MusicMedicine' platform that offers evidence-based music as a telehealth modality.
