Theme: Memantik Baskara: Tersulut Tak Membara, Terbakar Tak Bersuara

The wait will soon be over. At the peak of the 2023 TEDxUniversitasBrawijaya event, we presented "Memantik Baskara: Terlusut Tak Membara, Terbakar Tak Bersuara". This year's Grand Theme discusses about some people struggle amidst ambiguity about their identity until they finally spark an epiphany or give birth to new ideas that develop from a series of interconnected variables. The current era of the world is also heading towards an era of innovation and collaboration, where ideas and resources can be shared globally to achieve greater goals. With the existing potential and the involvement of nature, fellow human beings and human entities together, we strive to read, understand, research and appreciate phenomena in the context of complete self-acceptance. In this search, the audience will be taken on an interesting journey through interactive installations, combined with an inspiring stage, namely talks by TEDxUniversitasBrawijaya 2023 speakers, making it an unforgettable experience, weaving one story, walking together.

In this talk, Ayu Dewanti presented the theme "Psychological Balance in the Modern Era: Breaking Through Stigma and Pseudoscience”. In this case, people often think that poor mental health or decreasing is related to lack of level of faith or “insanity” / “mentally ill”. Ayu grabbed it passionate about educating children, teenagers, and parents for more aware of the importance of caring mental health and recognizing the signs signs of possible problems being experienced by children or teenager.

The inherent self that humans have is a profound mystery. In this talk, we will look more deeply into the uniqueness of the labyrinth of human anxiety and how Self-dignity will not be faded by reproach towards self-love without limitations.
