Join us for two evenings where we ignite the fires of creativity, celebrate the boundless potential of your childlike discovery, and explore the endless wonders of the universe. We invite you to rediscover the magic of curiosity.

For each night, doors open at 5:30pm and the TEDx talks begin at 6:30pm.

This year's event will include 9 incredible speakers over two nights, an innovation lab full of interactive booths, performances and an art gallery.

Cece Zhou

Cece is a fourth-year student at Queen's University, where she is pursuing a dual degree in Commerce and Physics. Cece's academic journey is a testament to her unwavering passion for renewable energy. Her ambition knows no bounds as she aspires to be a trailblazer in the field of renewable technology. Leveraging the power of interdisciplinary studies, Cece is committed to driving innovative solutions that can shape the future of sustainable living.

Cory Firth

Cory Firth is a human-impact coach, consultant and entrepreneur who has spent the last 5+ years successfully advocating for mental health reform & education across the world. Co-Founder of the Neuma Centre for Social Wellness, a first of its kind experiential learning centre that focuses on psychedelic education and holistic wellbeing, Cory brings together a unique set of tools and experiences that empower individuals in transforming their mental-emotional health both individually and as a community. He has helped advance groundbreaking mental health research, created more access to community support tools and led national regulation-changing projects that have fundamentally changed the way we access psychedelics & other health services for severe mental health conditions across Canada.

Diane Gehart

Author, educator and mental health professional
Best-selling author, award-winning professor, and psychotherapist, Dr. Diane Gehart is known for fun, practical mental health solutions, including Mindfulness for Chocolate Lovers: A Lighthearted Way to Savor More Each Day and Simply Sane: A 3-Step, Brain-Based System for Creating Wellness in 5 Minutes per Day or Less.

Morgan Lehtinen

For over ten years, Dr. Morgan Lehtinen has pioneered mobilizing chemical technologies to tackle such problems by harnessing the power of ecosystems, including founding a cleantech start-up based on her PhD research. Her trailblazing work has since been honoured through a variety of awards including being named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in 2023. During her journey as a deeptech founder, Morgan recognized the technical, business, and emotional challenges that go along with it, and now works to build systems, services and infrastructure to support the commercialization of chemical technologies from bench to pilot and beyond by co-founding RXN HUB.

Paul Cairns

Paul has dedicated the last four years of his career to a remarkable cause in West Africa, where he collaborated with aspiring entrepreneurs, leveraging his skills to transform their visions into tangible reality. His commitment to designing and bringing prototypes to life not only showcases his technical prowess but also highlights the transformative power of innovation in the lives of individuals and communities. Through his hands-on experience he has witnessed firsthand how the evolution of digital fabrication can be a catalyst for positive change. He envisions a future where this technology will not only redefine industries but also create new opportunities for growth and progress worldwide.

Samir Mourani

Samir Mourani is a serial entrepreneur, writer, speaker, host/producer of the internationally acclaimed podcast, Gent's Talk (top 5% globally per Spotify and featured on-board 450+ of Air Canada's fleet), Editor of Gent's Post and a men's health and wellness advocate. Samir has been featured on award-winning television shows and is a regular speaker on mental health.

Shai Dubey

Shai is an adjunct assistant professor at Queen’s University. With his law degree background he obtained at Queen’s, he teaches negotiation, conflict management and cross-cultural communications. Starting as a commercial pilot - he founded an executive aircraft charter company alongside a flight training school. Moreover, he served in the Canadian Forces as a Reserve.

Shannon Moroney

Shannon Moroney is the bestselling author of Through the Glass, a memoir of her journey following her first husband's violent crimes. She is also the creator of a transformative online course, “Heal for Real: How to Forgive Others—and yourself—in 10 steps” and its companion self-help book. Shannon was named a “Woman in the World” recommended writer by the New York Times, "One of the world's 50 most resilient people” by The International Resilience Project, and reached #1 at the World Empathy Library. A bold and brave advocate, Shannon is well known for her role as therapist and victims’ spokesperson in the criminal trials of disgraced fashion mogul, Peter Nygård.
