Through TEDxJGU, we aimed to spark meaningful conversations that inspire positive change. While the live event is a significant part of TEDx, our aim is to not only spark such conversations on the University level, but also allow for these talks to reach a global audience through the event’s recordings. Being a student-led event, we aim in making this event a journey of discovery, learning and connection for everyone, be it the speakers, attendees or the organising team. Through a theme that is carefully curated and thought of, this event will help to add an extra layer of depth and coherence to the topics being talked about, while ensuring that it resonates with the audience. Speakers often challenge existing norms, prompt the audience to question assumptions and inspire a deeper exploration of complex subjects. This event is a perfect fit with our institution’s objective to develop well-rounded individuals who value ideas worth spreading and engaging in cross-disciplinary learning.

The event featured 7 speakers from varied fields, shedding light on their journey through the viewpoint of the theme. Additionally, there were two cultural performances by the JGU Student Community as part of the event - a Classical Dance Performance and a Musical Performance.
