In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ibnu Nadzir is a PhD student in the Anthropology Department at University College London (UCL), researching nationalism and the startup ecosystem in Indonesia. With over ten years of experience as a researcher at the Center for Research on Society and Culture-BRIN, he focuses on digital anthropology studies. His publications can be found in books, scientific journals, and various media outlets in Indonesia and abroad. Additionally, he actively engages with government institutions, NGOs, and the private sector through his work in the scientific field.
