Dr. Amal Al Omari is the Chief Scientific Officer at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC). She has over 2 decades of experience in clinical and translational research, and currently leads KHCC's Office of Scientific Affairs and Research (OSAR) which is responsible for overall research administration and management at KHCC and oversees several functions and centers at the Center, including the Cancer Registry and the Center for Grants and Contracts Management. In addition, Dr. Al Omari manages KHCC’s Center of Research Shared Resources, which is composed of a dedicated clinical trials unit, a biostatistics unit, a data management unit, a survey research unit and a research training and education unit
