The 2024 edition of TEDxYouth@ISF, now called TEDxISF Youth, will be held January 13, 2024. As in past years, the venue is the Auditorium al Duomo, Via de' Cerretani, 54/r, 50123 Firenze. Most of our speakers are current or former students of the International School of Florence.

Alisiya Ermolenko

Alisiya Ermolenko is a Ukrainian high school student in grade 12. She moved to Italy ten years ago. By attending the International School of Florence, she has developed a great appreciation for different cultures and diverse perspectives. Alisiya plans to study Biology in university starting in September 2024.

Andrea Culletto is a writer and media specialist dedicated to helping people live healthier, happier lives.

Brian Deng

Brian Deng is from Wenzhou, China, but was born in Prato, Italy. He speaks English, Italian, and Chinese. Some of his hobbies are watching football and kickboxing. Brian will be entering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in September 2024 as an 11th grade high school student.

Coco Ferrari-Ross

Coco Ferrari-Ross is an Australian-American grade 10 student at the International School of Florence, Italy. She likes reading and participating in school activities such as Model United Nations (MUN) and Theater Club.

Elena Sofia Uzielli

Elena Sofia Uzielli is a 16 year-old Italian student in 11th grade at the International School of Florence. She is interested in politics, languages, art, and social issues. In her free time she can be found playing the guitar, reading a book, or walking through a museum.

Francesco Cechi

Francesco Cechi was born in Italy but lived in the United States for six years. He enjoys watching and playing all sports, especially basketball and soccer. He likes to traveling and experiencing different cultures. Francesco will be entering the Internationational Baccalaureate Diploma Program in September 2024 as an 11th grade high school student.

Giacomo Sproccati

Born and raised in Milan, Italy, Giacomo earned a dual undergraduate degree in Communications at the University of Milan and John Cabot University in Rome. After graduating with honors, he attended California State University, Long Beach in the graduate program in Italian studies and Rhetoric. Upon earning his M.A., Giacomo returned to Italy and joined Florida State University (FSU) in Florence as an administrator and faculty member. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Professional Communication via Minnesota State University, Mankato online. Giacomo now teaches public speaking at FSU, and in his free time he enjoys sports including surfing, dancing hip-hop and running.

Martha Rook

Born in Florence, since a very young age Martha Rook enjoyed losing herself in music, singing, playing and composing. Today she is a singer, specializing in early music, with a particular interest in the secular repertoire of the Renaissance. Martha is a founding member of young ensembles PassiSparsi and Dulcedo Ardens. She is constantly researching theatrical and expressive approaches to performance and finding new ways to communicate early repertoire to contemporary audiences.

Martina Petrucci

Martina Petrucci is currently a ninth grade high school student at the International School of Florence. Her passions for international affairs, equality, and justice are expressed and enhanced by her eager participation in many school-related activities, including Model United Nations.

Olivia Dick

Olivia Dick is an American high school student at the International School of Florence, Italy, where she is currently an 11th grade student in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.

Sara Vicari

Sara Vicari is a 21-year old future trainee solicitor and law student at Queen Mary University in London. She is originally from Florence, Italy, where she graduated from the International School of Florence. Sara's professional goal is to become a commercial lawyer in the City of London. She revels in getting to know people from different cultures.

Yu Xuan Cai

Yu Xuan is an 11th grade high school student at the International School of Florence, Italy. His enthusiasm for international relations has led him to participate actively in the Model United Nations (MUN).
