Going along with this year's TEDWomen theme of "Two Steps Forward", combining with our love of our theme "Be True to Who You Are", we have produced a stunning line-up of speakers for this special event.
Whilst we have an all-female speaker line-up, we do welcome and encourage male attendees.
We have some incredible men behind the scenes making this event as special as can be.

Pitch Competition
We will be hosting a special competition this year at the event too - pitch your chance to speak at the next TEDxShoreditch! Details for this can be found on our blog:

After Party
We will be running an after-party where you will get a chance to mingle with all the speakers and get to ask them your burning questions.
There will be delicious food, alcoholic and soft drinks provided at the after party.
Entrance to the after party is included with your ticket.

Alicia Richardson

Founder, Black Create Connect
Alicia Richardson is the Founder of Black Create Connect, a Podcast host, an Advisory Board Member for start-ups, DEI trainer and a Lead Diversity Equity & Inclusion Consultant. Alicia has over 6 years of experience in creating and executing diverse hiring strategies across the Creative, Tech, and Marketing industries. She has led successful diverse & inclusive employer brand talent acquisition and retention strategies. Some of the companies she’s worked with include Analog Folk,ASOS, DEPOP, Salesforce, House 337, Wunderman Thompson, Access VFX, Four Communications, Media Cause and more. Alicia is passionate about underrepresented talent rising to senior positions specifically within creative, marketing, and tech industries, and has supported over 100 black professionals with their job search .Alicia has been featured on platforms such as BBC Radio 1, Evening Standard, Tribe Urban Radio, and Women in CTRL, The Drum and more.

Amy Kean

Creative Director at Good Shout
Amy Charlotte Kean is CEO and creative director of Good Shout: a social learning company that helps people experiment with their voice, their talent and their thinking. She’s also a bestselling author, sociologist, poet, columnist and university lecturer who worked in advertising for 17 years all over the world as head of innovation and creativity for huge agencies like Havas, Mindshare and Publicis. Amy’s used her voice a shit tonne over the years, whether that’s in Grazia, the Guardian or on Woman’s Hour, and running workshops for organisations on how to be weirder. She constantly has a creative project on the go and most recently wrote, produced and starred in a sold out London play, Group, about the dark side of life coaching.

Ferne McCann

TV Personality & COO of Shoorah
Ferne McCann has built a successful personal brand over the last decade and is one of the UK’s best-known media personalities. Ferne has starred in some of the country’s most watched television shows and collaborated with some of the UK’s most popular brands. She continues to star in her long-running ITV programme Ferne McCann: My Family and Me. Ferne is also co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of mental health app Shoorah and her biggest passion is sharing the tools and techniques that have helped support her own mental health with as many people as possible, through the many features within the app.

Laura Mathias

Ambassador, Changing Faces UK
Big, bald and embracing it. After two decades of hiding her hair loss, Laura now celebrates her differences. Using her communications expertise, she confronts society’s unhealthy obsession with ‘beauty’ through speeches, diversity panels and creative collaborations. Unrelenting in her work as a visible difference campaigner and charity ambassador, Laura is on a mission to make sure no one who looks, or feels, ‘different’ is left unrepresented or alone.

Maya Raichoora

Mental Fitness Expert
One of the UK’s leading visualisation experts, Maya is pioneering a mental fitness revolution. She is the founder and CEO of Remap mental fitness. Working with global brands like Nike, Lego and Barclays- she helps people think, feel and perform like the top 1%. Best known for hosting immersive visualisation events, her story and workshops will leave you feeling inspired, empowered and mentally strong. At the age of 15, Maya was diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis, an incurable irritable bowel disease. Crippled with physical and mental pain, she was told she had very little hope. After learning and practicing visualisation, the technique saved her life. She is now on a mission to help others.

Patrice Gordon

Reverse Mentoring Expert
Patrice is a multi-hyphenate business executive, with an insatiable drive that she credits to her Caribbean heritage. Her foundation is steeped in finance and commercial and she held senior positions across British Airways, Royal Mail plc, and Virgin Atlantic. Her passion and drive for excellence saw her win the title of Senior Leader: Consumer and Luxury at the 2022 Black British Business Award. In addition, she is a qualified Executive Coach focused on building more inclusive leadership teams, amplifying under-represented voices and implementing sustainable reverse mentoring programs.

Peony Li

Founder, We Are Jude
Peony Li, is the founder of Jude, and on a mission to bring better bladder care into the mainstream globally. She previously distributed six millions pieces of PPE to care homes and frontline workers during the pandemic. She was Head of Investments at Founders Factory and was previously the Head of Operations at Daye where she was responsible for launching the pain soothing tampon.
