In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Asher Sochaczewski

Asher Sochaczewski is a freshman at Stetson University, where he is getting a BA in Environmental Studies. Asher's is a presidential fellow; he is also in the honor's program and made the dean's list last semester. Asher is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and a proud Jew. Asher is running to be president of the Stetson College Democrats, where he is going uncontested. He is also a member of the Stetson Alliance for Gender Equality, Hillel, and the Environmental Club. Lastly, Asher is a political advocacy coordinator for the environmental non-profit ReThink Energy Florida.

D'Angelo Brown

D’Angelo Brown, who is a Stetson University Alum coming all the way from Thailand where he is serving in the United States Peace Corps. He is also known for the memorable speech he gave as a commencement speaker for his class graduation back in 2022. During his time at Stetson, he majored in Political Science and American Studies with a minor in community engagement. He was also a part of numerous organizations on campus, such as Student Government Association, Black Student Union, and Stetson Rotaract, but he attributes most of his success to being in the Bonner program.

Dylaney Sabino

Dylaney Sabino is a Stetson University graduate of 2023, Dylaney currently serves as an AmeriCorps VISTA on campus as Bonner Program Coordinator. She engages closely with some of Stetson’s best students and community partners, all driven by a shared passion to make a positive impact on the world. Dylaney is dedicated to spreading awareness about the benefits of the Bonner Program to local students and providing support to students already participating in this wonderful program.

Naya Adla

Naya Adla is a sophomore at Stetson University who is originally from Syria and raised up in Egypt. Naya is double majoring in Applied Mathematics, with a special interest in Data Science, and Digital Arts, while also completing double minors in Computer Science and a certificate in Community Engagement. Beyond academics, Naya is deeply involved in community and leadership roles. She is in the Bonner Program, a WORLD Ambassador, and a volunteer with Homeschoolers of Central Florida. Her artistic talents shine through her work as a Graphic Designer and Museum Guide at the Gillespie Museum.

Shane Norton

Shane Norton is a 2022 Stetson University graduate. He currently works as a graphic designer at SMA Healthcare in Daytona Beach and has a passion for exploring Artificial Intelligence (AI) in our current world.
