In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Amandeep Randhawa

Entrepreneur
As a Business Development Specialist, Amandeep is a highly resourceful coach, mentor, consultant, and facilitator for both teams and individuals. Amandeep has been a Certified Brain Based Coach since 2017, trained by the NeuroLeadership Institute (NLI). She also holds a post graduate diploma in Textile Technology and International Marketing from RMIT, Melbourne, Australia (1997). Amandeep is the Founder Director of Beyond Basics Learning Pvt Ltd and HAB Learning Pvt. Ltd. She’s had the opportunity to train over 5000 individuals across various domains and has adapted methodologies of experiential learning, which have allowed her to create impactful content and deliver highly effective workshops. Amandeep’s strength lies in understanding the DNA of an organization and guiding its people towards self-awareness, effectiveness, and productivity.

Benoy Stephen

Development consultant + Coach
Benoy Stephen is the co-founder and director at Y-Ultimate, a non-profit that uses the sport of ultimate frisbee to build life skills in young people from marginalised socioeconomic backgrounds. He holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University. He started his stint in the development sector through the Teach for India Fellowship from 2016. He has worked as a grassroot sports development consultant for USHA International from 2019-21. He is passionate about bridging gender gaps through sports and has worked with Transformational Sports as a facilitator and program manager for various projects. He has been playing and coaching ultimate for the last 8 years. He currently plays and mentors Y-Ultimate's club team, GK MAD for the Indian National Championship. He is a World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) certified coach and served as the Assistant Coach of the Indian Ultimate Frisbee Mixed Team in 2023 for the Asian Grass Championships (AOUGC).

Itisha Nagar

Psychologist + Educator + Content creator
Dr. Itisha Nagar is a former professor of Psychology at Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi. She has published various papers in reputed national and international journals in her areas of interest namely clinical and gender psychology. Dr. Nagar has been actively invited for numerous talks and lectures in educational institutions throughout the country for her strong views and active involvement in spreading awareness about topics such as mental health, gender, neurodiversity and feminism. In her free time she enjoys using the tool of social media to make psychology jargons accessible and understandable. Dr. Nagar’s overarching goal is to contribute to making the world a more compassionate, empathic, just, and self-aware place through education.

Rahul Bhushan

Architect
Rahul Bhushan, a Himachali Eco-Architect, entrepreneur, and educator, is the visionary and driving force behind NORTH, a creative, cultural, and social organization in Himachal. Leading a diverse community of artists, local craftspeople, designers, and business professionals, Rahul adopts an alternative approach, treating the organization as an ecosystem. His visionary efforts center around reviving Kathkuni and Dhajji Dewari, indigenous practices in the Himalayas. Experimenting with vernacular techniques to design and build resilient natural buildings, publishing firsthand research on Himalayan craftsmanship, and fostering grassroots-level systems, Rahul actively engages in community-driven projects to empower villagers.

Sayan Chaudhuri

Educator
Sayan Chaudhuri teaches a course titled ‘Education, Literacy, and Justice’ at the Critical Writing Program in the Young India Fellowship, Ashoka University. He completed his Ph.D. in English Studies from JNU, where he studied the framing of English Studies in higher education settings, with an emphasis on how classroom experience and pedagogic practices interact with the curriculum. His research and pedagogic interests are in the fields of critical pedagogy, critical university studies, and emotions in education. He also works as a subject advisor for the development of the English curriculum at the Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE). He’s a founding member of Aaina (Insta: aaina_edu), an initiative to make critical educational perspectives more accessible to a larger public.

Shruti Sah

Entrepreneur
Shruti Sah is the co-founder of Bookmark, a dating app for readers, and Weird Request, a sugar-free home-based bakery. In January 2023, she co-founded Cubbon Reads, a silent reading community, which has spawned into a global reading movement with chapters in 70+ cities worldwide.

Yuvika Verma

Youth Speaker + Author
Yuvika Verma, a published author, enriches the literary landscape with her acclaimed work, 'Pourquoi Tales for Kids', a captivating book that has resonated with readers globally, selling over 5000 copies on Amazon and Kindle. She has trained in Ballet since the age of four and has taken exams from the Royal Academy of Dance, London. Yuvika also has a passion for computer science and STEAM. She is currently the student lead of Project Urja, an initiative to implement renewable energy sources in her school.
