In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Carolyn He

Carolyn He is a junior at the Academy for Math, Science, and Engineering. She is an avid competitor in Speech and Debate. Tonight she brings a bit of the activity with her as she performs two speeches. Her first speech will be on navel warfare. Whether it’s the topics she advocates for as an orator, the climate conferences she is honored to speak at, or the research conventions where she presents original work, Carolyn is proud to raise her voice on the issues that matter most.

Sakshini Ganesh is a junior at the Academy for Math, Science, and Engineering. After 4+ years of learning and researching data science and artificial intelligence, she obtained her AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty this year from Amazon Web Services.
