In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Andrea is an avid public speaker, artist, writer, and communication studies graduate with hands-on experience in corporate communications and a passion for serving her community.

Bob Schaffer

Bob Schaffer is a full-time faculty and the department chair for Engineering and Mechatronics at Mission College. He is also the Board Chair for Elevate Tutoring, a non-profit he founded to support first generation college students.

Casey is double majoring in Environmental Science and Political Science. She is a passionate advocate for her fellow community college students and currently serves on the California Community College Board of Governors.

Jacob Chaudhry

President of Mission College's Toastmasters Club, Jacob is a student pursuing higher education in neuroscience and its connections to theology and ethics, dedicated to bringing biological insights that can shed light on our personal and social lives.

Relationship Coach
Jenn Noble, ACC is a relationship coach and founder of Speak Honest. Specializing in attachment-focused relationships and communication, Jenn combines her expertise in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Integrated Attachment Theory, and Compassionate Inquiry to empower individuals to transform their personal and romantic relationships. Luis Valdes is a psychology student passionate about helping others; when he lost 150 pounds, he was determined to share how he did it and created a roadmap for losing weight using already known concepts from psychology. His goal is to make losing weight easier and simpler for others. Luis broke down the steps to losing weight to help others who want to do the same."

Omar Farooq

Omar Farooq is a high school junior and a Mission college student who initiated his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 14 and co-founded the Holistix Leadership and Sports Academy.
