Carli Yim

Carli is currently a 4th year Radio and Television Arts student here at Ryerson. She is the captain of the Women’s Volleyball. Having grown up in the heart of Toronto she attended Jarvis Collegiate. She has competed in the Ontario Basketball Association with the Toronto Lords Basketball team and also, in the Ontario Volleyball Association with the Toronto Blues and Aurora Storm Volleyball Club. Along with her athletic background, emceeing is an active hobby. In 2011 she had the chance to interview, former Raptor, Jarett Jack and world-renowned tennis player, Li Na. Upon graduation, Carli looks to continue to take on challenges with a smile and inspire through her work.

Rudhra Prasad

Rudhra is the Program Facilitator for Employment and Summer Internships at the Pathways to Education program in Regent Park. He has raised over one hundred thousand dollars for Summer Internships in the past 4 years and has advised Toronto Community Housing on how to structure their Summer Internship program. He is currently a Spanning the Gaps student and is currently on the steering committee for a Youth Challenge Fund legacy initiative.

Tameika Green Crane

Mika Crane is a 4th year Public Health and Safety student with the School of Occupational and Public Health and Safety. She established the first Canadian chapter of Global HEED here at Ryerson creating a connection between Ryerson's Public health students with Public Health students all over the states including Emory University which is home to the CDC. She created the Breathe Easy Youth Tobacco Cessation project with the support of the Tri-Mentoring Program and funding from Toronto Public Health to provide health promotion programming to under-served youth in the GTA and is currently supporting the creation of the Esplanade Girls Group modeled after the Jane and finch phenomenal women's group currently being run by the Tri-Mentoring. She is the 2012 Viola Desmond Day award winner for contributions to her community and will be joining the team of Durham Region Public Health in May.
