x = independently organized TED event

This event occurred on
June 27, 2023
Reigate, Surrey
United Kingdom

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Say Vivekanantham

Founder @ Homey
Former pupil Say that left RGS in 2009 to study medicine at Imperial College in London where he qualified in medicine in 2015. Whilst working as a doctor for the NHS, Say built an 8-figure property portfolio from scratch. This allowed him to experience first-hand the pains of buying a house and the lack of digitisation of the process. Now he runs Homey, a technology company streamlining the home buying process – it all stemmed from an initial ‘spark’ of an idea.
