In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Chana Hughes is a family psychotherapist working for the NHS and private practice. She writes regularly for several newspapers and specialist publications about mental health, neurodiversity and Jewish thought. She offers systemic training to organisations and charities. She lives in Edgware with her husband and five children.

Eric is a student at John Lyon who enjoys all the sciences thoroughly. Eric is very passionate about Biology in particular and is very interested in new research in genetics and immunology. Eric enjoys singing in a choir and playing Piano in his spare-time.

Julien's life changed at 10 years old when he became the beneficiary of a radical programme that uses boarding school places as an alternative to foster care. Using the lessons from his unique experience, at 17, Julien started to speak about how education can transform lives; as time went on Julien was fortunate to be speak at a broad range of events most notably at the House of Lords, ITV's This Morning as well as being featured in the Sunday Times and MyLondon. Today, Julien is a final year student at the University of Exeter studying Philosophy and Spanish and is planning on pursuing his current entreprenial ventures after university.

Madisan is a Year 11 Student at John Lyon, who lists passions for Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. A keen academic, he enjoys classroom learning as well as other opportunities available to him. Madisan is passionately curious about the world around him, which can be seen as an excellent attribute. He spoke at Talks on the Hill in 2020 and 2022, so he is no stranger to public speaking. Madisan has always had a passion for medicine and hopes to study it at university.

Living with OCD & ADHD, Shaun navigates mental illness into a continuing mental wellness. Undiagnosed mental illness left Shaun, suicidal, hopeless, and depressed when a moment hit him “I am going to change the world” Since then his mission has remained the same. renowned for “OCD was the worst thing to happen to me and I will be the worst thing to ever happen to OCD.” and I will leave the world in a better place than I found it.
