In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Fatima Saad

Student
A dedicated learner and explorer, Fatima, a 15 year old, is an empathic committed to the pursuit of knowledge. Fatima is an aspiring artist, who enjoys experimenting with various mediums whether it be oil-painting, sketching or even composing music. Fatima strongly believes in re-familiarizing originality and bringing innovative ways to enhance working ideas. She is also an active member of the Acton Debate Society where she harnesses and improves her skills in persuasive argumentation and critical thinking.

Hasan Ali

A driven and resilient individual, Hasan is going to be speaking about his own experiences and specifically talk about loneliness and how he overcame losing his best friend. Through hope and positive thinking, Hasan demonstrated persistence and found his own secret to dealing with loneliness.

Inayah Rafay

Student
Inayah Rafay is a 13-year-old with a deep passion for the arts, writing, and psychology. She loves Shakespeare and has a hobby of collecting poems, quotes, and lyrics, watching movies, and being a social butterfly. Her style is a mixture of her love for Anime, music, Manga, and literature. Last year, she opened a business for giving therapy sessions, leading to her love for helping people figure out and solve their problems.

Maheer Rizwan

Maheer Rizwan, a passionate and optimistic 16 year old, on her journey to becoming an aspiring doctor. With an interest in all sorts of art forms, and a passion to advocate for equality, she aims to become the voice of the unheard. Using her skills as a leader, a social butterfly and an empathetic human being, she aspires to one day become a world class doctor. Always willing to learn something new everyday, Maheer owns her own poetry page and has mastered the art of Martial Arts through Taekwondo by becoming a Black Belt last month. She is never afraid to discuss the elephant in the room or bring new ideas and fresh perspectives to the table.

Mahnoor Waqar, a 14-year-old passionate about art, is starting her own YouTube channel for her paintings. She enjoys her passion immensely and wants to share insights for anyone to find their passion at any stage in their life.

A young boy who wants to make an impact and is interested in the biodiversity of the Earth, currently trying out MUN Model United Nations and going to his first conference soon. Although he struggles a bit with balance, he’s trying his best to employ the use of positive habits and is excited to spread the message on habits to the world!

Minaam Ali

Minaam Ali is a 17-year-old pursuing a bachelor's in Aviation. He views the world through an unadulterated lens which has led him to be a free thinker and an honest individual. More importantly, it helped him be an observer. Throughout his life, he has observed how people behave and how behavior relates to one's age. Minaam calls this maturity. When he started to come into his teenage years he came up with a set rhetoric, an idea that he used to tackle maturity that assisted him in skills like people dealing as well as growing his street smarts.

Her 30-day digital devices detox serves as a powerful testament to her determination to prioritize genuine human connections and the betterment of society as a whole.

Muhammad Ibraheem Nouman

With a head filled with dreams, Muhammad Ibraheem Nouman is a passionate and aspiring young boy who has always strived to be himself no matter where he is. He prides himself in his ability to make connections with people and forge life-long relationships through moments of laughter, happiness, and joy. His experience befriending someone that would go on to become his best friend has taught him a lot about empathy and friendship, alongside reinforcing the huge importance of human connections in him.

Muhammad Yahya Nouman

An inquisitive and driven individual, Muhammad Yahya Nouman is a 16 year old enthusiastic coder currently studying at Acton Academy Lahore. Apart from being an avid debater, he is quite passionate about innovative technologies and is looking forward to apply his critical thinking and creativity to effectively elucidate real-world problems. Having a firm belief in the limitless power of a single notepad in impacting the world, he has taken the first steps to do this through learning multiple programming languages making him a tech-savvy individual and also providing unprivileged women of his hometown Lahore opportunities to support their families by selling their handwoven garments online. In his free time, Yahya loves taking photos and playing computer games.

Muhammad Zayan Mian

As an individual who is vividly striving for success in life, Muhammad Zayan Mian is a 14-year-old boy who is sharing his idea of acknowledgement which is to describe the purpose of the Growth Mindset and how should one completely eradicate their Fixed Mindset. From pursuing his hero’s journey, he would share a story of his past and would demonstrate a takeaway from his ted talk which is to use Growth Mindset and how it helped him take on his struggles and obstacles

Nageene Noor

Nageene Noor, a 14-year-old who grew up surrounded by various cultures, beliefs, and overall lifestyles. After moving from the UAE to Pakistan 5 years ago, she was homeschooled for three years. She developed a passion for exploring diverse skills, and being versatile in her time spent alone, not confined in the walls of a classroom like her peers. She believes that homeschooling has the potential to transform our world, as she experienced in her time.

Naumaan Noor

Naumaan Ali Noor is a 12 year old Basketball superfan, using his passion for the sport as the stepping stone to his realization of the importance of mentality. He struggled with a bad mental state and minimal self confidence, making him underachieve in everything he attempted. Ali Noor is passionate about mentality, using his personal development as an example and stepping stone to raise awareness of how a weak mentality can affect a life, and how to strengthen it.

Noor Fatima Awais, a 13 year old enthusiastic learner who is currently studying in Acton Academy Lahore. Noor is also an entrepreneur, running her own art shop online with her parents, where she gets to sell her artwork online and show people her talent. After struggling with addiction to her phone, Noor recognizes this common pitfall faced by all young people and has a solution to this problem worth sharing.

Snabil Sheraz

Snabil Sheraz is 15 year-old currently studying at Acton Academy Lahore. Currently she is striving to pursue and improve her artistic abilities. Snabil has initially participated in an entrepreneurship exhibition where she displayed and sold various art pieces. She has previously struggled with procrastination, however, through her in-depth reflection analysis, she plans to share her experiences and develop innovative ways to utilize it.

Wasif Raza

Wasif Raza is a 14 year old boy who has a deep passion for cricket. He has been passionate about cricket since a very young age. He is a highly skilled batsman and loves bowling, he is a fast bowler. His love for cricket has intrigued him to share his most valuable life lessons learned from playing (and watching) it all over the world, ideas worth sharing.
