In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Pierre Martinet

Pierre Martinet was first a soldier in the 3rd RPIMa before joining the Action Service. He left the services in September 2001 to work in the private sector, in the “Security” department of the Canal+ channel. His book Service Action: An agent comes out of the shadows, published in spring 2005, caused a scandal. He also reveals the daily life of intelligence agents in France, and breaks the myth of the spy James Bond. In 2006 he published a second book: From Shadow to Light.
