Theme: Re-engineering humanity

This event occurred on
October 11, 2023
Johannesburg, Gauteng
South Africa

The quick technological advances have changed who we have become as humans and as a society. We are being forced to reassess who we are and what it means to be human in today’s world. How we work, live and learn has changed almost overnight. The explosion of change has impacted all areas of our lives and has forced us to relook at ourselves and how we exist. Innovations across many disciplines are exploding, bringing advancement and changes to society. Are we becoming exhausted from being “plugged in” 24/7? How are we coping, and what mechanisms have we developed to exist in our changing society and co-exist with technology? How have our ideas, behaviours, mentality, and social conditioning changed to adapt to the world changing around us?
