At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Puneet Gupta

Mr. Puneet Gupta is the CEO and Founder of Clensta, a beauty and wellness brand which incorporates waterless hygiene technology. With Clensta, incubated in the labs of IIT Delhi, Mr. Gupta has devised a line of body bath and shampoo that can be used by defence personnel, patients, and the elderly to take baths without water while maintaining proper hygiene. These products can be directly applied to hair and body, and dried off with a towel.

Robin Hibu

Robin Hibu journeyed a long way from the remote village of Hong, Arunachal Pradesh to receiving accolades for his fight against racism faced by Northeasterners in India. He took charge of making Delhi a “much-safer capital” for the people of the Northeast through his job. He is also the founder of ‘Helping Hands’, which addresses the distress of students, young men, and women. The first IPS officer, the first IGP as Joint Commissioner in Rashtrapati Bhavan Secretariat from Arunachal Pradesh, and the first IPS officer to lead UN missions, the man in uniform has left imprints of his impact. Dubbed as ‘the cop with a golden heart’, Robin Hibu truly is the perfect Samaritan who has worked tirelessly for the welfare of women and the North-Eastern people in India. In his Ted Talk he talks about how contributing and giving back to his society has given him the purpose of his life and he therefore advises the youngsters to always be connected to their roots and try to reciprocate to their community in one or the other way.

Vijendra Chauhan

Mr. Vijendra Chauhan, also known as “The Professor of Laughs and Knowledge” is a professor at Zakir Husain College, Delhi University and an educator at Drishti IAS Coaching—the premiere institute for Civil Services’ aspirants. Moreover, Mr. Chauhan is amongst the highly regarded panelists for civil services interviews, holding the fate of aspiring bureaucrats in his hands. He's the gatekeeper to the realm of public service, and his insights are invaluable.
