At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

She leads the Non-profit organisation @impact_pakistan which makes efforts to rehabilitate and build resilience in communities affected by the climate crisis. Her work extends to climate advocacy with UNICEF Pakistan, UN Women, various media agencies, and numerous non-governmental organizations. Rida stresses our duty to fight climate change as the last generation to have a chance.
