Theme: Balance

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

His aim is to spread this knowledge, using easily relatable principles to democratise the field of architecture and Feng Shui to the wider public.

Emma is a campaigning and public policy professional and a proficient theatre maker with nearly two decades of experience and a talented and highly sought-after writer and commentator. She runs the Political Human consultancy. She is widely published and has a proven history of developing and implementing communication strategies, campaigns, profile raising, stakeholder relationships and speech writing.

Max Klymenko

Entrepreneur and Social Media Creator

Max Klymenko is a Ukrainian entrepreneur and creator with four university degrees in Law, Economics, Business and Sociology. Prior to starting his business, Max worked in corporate consultancy and advertising. Now, he makes videos and runs KLYM&CO – a digital communications agency which helps businesses create impactful content and advertising campaigns online. Max has amassed around 4 million followers and over 3 billion views.

Patsy Stevenson

Activist

Patsy Stevenson is a women’s rights activist. Patsy often appears on numerous media outlets like the BBC, Channel 4, GB News and Sky News amongst others. Patsy has made the headlines for being arrested at a Sarah Everard Vigil in Clapham Common. She studied Physics at Royal Holloway.

Sandy Starr

Deputy Director of the Progress Education Trust

Sandy Starr is Deputy Director of the Progress Educational Trust (PET), a charity that improves choices for people affected by infertility and genetic conditions. He also serves on the Oversight Group of the project Governance of Stem-Cell-Based Embryo Models. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organised by a local community.
